Data compromised
Name, address, phone number, and possibly Social Security or tax ID numbers. The Texas filing lists 9,404 residents. A Massachusetts figure of 1,580 comes from a secondary source.
Technical writeup
Company-filed notices. The California notice was only partly read. No notice from Etna itself was located.
Root cause
Tradier says the attack hit Etna Software, a vendor whose order-management system it uses, not Tradier's own network. Tradier learned of the vendor incident on September 3, 2026, and filed notices with California and Texas regulators in late October.
