2013 — Intel: A former Intel employees pleaded guilty to stealing…

A former Intel employees pleaded guilty to stealing documents for competitive advantage.  The employee worked for AMD at the time of the theft and was able to retain access to some of Intel's processor designs and chip fabrication process documents.  He used his vacation time from Intel to begin working at AMD.  The dishonest employee was charged with one count of stealing trade secrets for stealing a stack of documents in 2008 and four counts of wire fraud.  Intel valued the documents at betwee
