Jones Day told Reuters it experienced a phishing incident in which an unauthorized third party accessed a limited number of dated files for 10 clients. The firm said affected clients had been notified, while declining to identify the clients or files.
Reuters reported that Silent Ransom Group posted data on March 30, 2026 and claimed responsibility. The FBI has previously warned that the group targets law firms because of the sensitivity of legal-industry data.
