Avis Budget Group notified customers of a data breach when the third-party provider that manages their open enrollment process accidentally sent a file to another company that is also their client. The information exposed to this other client included names, addresses and Social Security numbers. For those affected the company is offering a Experian's ProtectMyID for free for one year.
