Akamai was indirectly affected by the Salesforce/Salesloft/Drift supply chain breach. Attackers compromised Salesloft, stole OAuth tokens from Drift's Salesforce integration, and used them to access Salesforce customer instances. Akamai investigated and found only limited data in service support tickets was exposed. Exposure was minimal due to automated 120-day deletion of sensitive data from closed tickets. No Akamai platforms, network systems, or production services were compromised; no customer traffic data was affected.
